Current Music that I like...

I have always been a bit embarrassed at my love of POP music, but I will share that I do like "How Do You Sleep?" by Jesse McCartney. I think he has spunk and a good voice. He's impressive because some years after his debut he's still making his career happen.

Here's the music video of the song "How Do You Sleep?":
Tell me what you think about it.

Mon boulot

Hm...now in English: I've been feeling my stomach fat... it sucks to be fat. I want to be slender and handsome. I'm tired of my fat face, lol. I may have strength, but being fat sucks. Forever envious of those with better bodies am I. So sullen, so sad. Hm... Would be nice to express these feelings with someone, but who do I know that would listen to my complaints on my body?

::IDEA!:: A girlfriend! Duhh...lol. But how to get one? I must try to do that during the summer. Maybe I'll meet someone interesting in one of my four summer courses.

To be continued Blog. ; )

New Job

I'm now working on campus in Library North. I work in the tech services office were government documents are processed. Today was only my third day, but I'm worried that I won't be able to keep to normal pace. I was very sluggish today. I can't say what was wrong with me. I suppose that I was too tired, hungry and lost in my thoughts. That is typically true, but I'm not sure that those things affected my performance. I was thinking of going to work early tomorrow to make up for today, but I should probably wait for Allison and Dana to give me instruction. I just feel really bad. That was the only thing that put me in a bad mood. I was feeling alright for the most part today, especially after speaking with Professor Minardi. She boosted my confidence rather a lot. I was grateful. I'd like to chat with her again.
I hope that Allison isn't trop fâchée avec moi. I am determined to work better tomorrow. I had better sleep very well tonight. Please, God help me there. Good night, blog.

Extinguish

Do you ever want to extinguish those that you feel have warped your life? Are you ever tired of those that you must suffer for years because you were only a child? Children are often powerless in those situations. Oh, God! The infinite compromises that one makes with himself and with others that are never said and only exist in thought. They are so many that they could move mountains!

I'm very tired of thinking about my own personal hang-ups. I want to be free of the past and emerge into the future sword in hand ready to battle to claim my own life sans the grief and misery of the past.

One of those who I sometimes want to "extinguish" is my own mother. I find her a bit treacherous. Her love for my younger brother's father makes me keep her in that regard. I cannot trust her and I don't know if I could ever rediscover MY mother from before she knew him. I'm hardly depressed about this. I knew that I would have all these feelings. In general I'm rather insightful of things that are destined to pass in my future. FUCK, I am tired of thinking of this crap. ::sigh::

My only possibility of mental freedom is to create much distance between all that STUFF and the life that I want to create for myself.

That's my vent for this evening.

Later, blog.

11 March 2006-

My mom just asked me for $100 that she may go to New York........................................what the hell?! She's had plans to start working in NYC for more than a week and the day before that she needs to go, she asks me for money? Dear, Lord, please, help my mother, because she's behaving uncomprehensibly.

I just realized that there are only seven more weeks of class instruction. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that. I was sure that there were still eight more weeks, but I'm happy. I'm really looking forward to the summer session. and the rest of my time at GSU.

God, what should I do? Should I dip into my savings account and retreive the money for my mother and further disturb my finances? Or should I keep to my discipline and manage my money without external interference?

Please, God, I hope that you will find Andy worthy of a job and allow him to work at Six Flags Over Georgia this summer. He really wants to. I hope that the commute won't kill him. I was thinking that he should work at Martin's. The commute might stress him too much between home and Six Flags.

My friend, Chris, loves Madonna, which I don't really understand. Her music is okay, but I have to push myself to like it. One of her new songs is playing on American Eagle Outfitter's online radio. He's planning to go to NYC and see her in concert. I'd like to do something with him, but I'm too antisocial normally.

I took Ian to his high school for ISS: in school suspension. I didn't mind. It was fine to drive early in the morning. When I was at the light preparing to turn onto Cunningham Road, this car came behind me and its driver was too impatient and decided to go around me very bravely and made the turn to the left. I didn't care of course, that's just how I am. I found it a bit rude, but whatever, he was at liberty. I suppose that I do take too long to make my turns. I just like to turn safely and I'm never in a rush when I'm driving, so bully to him. He entered the subdivision and was leaving it when I had just got out of the car. That was a bit weird. Just desserts, apparently he hadn't need to rush because he didn't do whatever he needed in the subdivision. So, bugger him! LOL.

Later, blog. Perhaps, I will give the money to mom, but her mini-crisis is getting on my nerves. I want this crap to be over already and for it not to affect me as it did last semester, which was rather miserable. Whatever, I'm looing forward to better days. Screw the effing past.

Midterms

I'm such a lazy bastard! I hate myself, really, lol. I won't study for my midterms that I'm going to have today. I like to amuse myself on the Internet too much. The two exams should be easy enough, but I still haven't stomped out this idleness that I've had since...high school...?...no...umm....since FOREVER! LOL. I suppose that I'll only stop when I really need to complete a task like when I'm working.

I'm chatting with my friend from St. Thomas of the U.S. Virgin Islands. She's nice. Her name is Jesenia. I've spoken to her by telephone once last summer. I like her voice. Perhaps she and I will meet one day, but thus far I've never met one of my friends from online.

Well, I did pray on it, and hopefully, God will make some miracles happen for me today. I can only hope. LOL.

I forgot

I forgot that I had this blog. My first entry was good. I'm going to write in French:

Beaucoup a change depuis cette epoque-la. Je suis revenu en Georgie et j'assiste a GSU. Ma concentration est finalement le francais. Le mineur est la science politique.

::La bete est la. C'est ce que j'appelle le pere d'Andre. Ca me rend rire.

Anyway, I can't think of anything more... je suis fini.

Current thoughts on the world

The disaster in Haiti has been on my mind since Hurrican Jeanne left the island. I'm half-Haitian and I always think about the trudgery of life, through which Haitians live. I had a very humanitarian idea that I could orchestrate a clothing and food drive for the people. That would be very great. I might do that. It's been reported that the U.S. will only give about $90,000 in aid to Haiti. That's rather low for us, but it's understandable because of our endeavours in protecting ourselves from terrorists and in reestablishing Iraq.

I watched the first presidential debate last night. It was good. I was glad that one was able to see the facial reactions of one opponent while the other spoke. It was ridiculous that it was made to seem that John Kerry and President Bush are the same height (really that they are "equal"), because the podium still made the President appear diminished. Plus, Kerry has a longer face and Bush's face is more round.

I hope that most Iraqis are intelligent to the needs of their country. I hope that they aren't too cross with us and that they will allow the U.S. troops to do their duty. The troops must have a clever mind about dealing with the Iraqis. I think that they should bring the soldiers that are fluent in Arabic to the front and those soldiers that are Muslim to make peace. They shouldn't wear military uniforms, but should wear the clothing of an average Iraqi to ameliorate the situation there. This covert operation might improve the peace there, but don't let the Iraqis know about it.

I wish that I had a friend in Iraq. I tried to make friends using www.penpal.net, but they didn't respond to me. I'll try again. Maybe they're weary of "American pretenders".
